Job summary

CoreWeave is hiring a Staff Software Engineer to own the software powering its GPU cloud network. You will design, implement, and maintain production systems that automate provisioning, configuration, and observability of the network, while guiding architecture and engineering standards.

You will lead cross‑team initiatives, drive RFCs, and mentor engineers to raise the team’s technical bar, with a strong emphasis on Python, Go, and cloud-native tooling in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience building/operating production infrastructure
• Strong proficiency in Python and Go
• Solid understanding of CI/CD and automated testing
• Experience managing runtime health and observability for services at scale
• Hands-on experience with workflow automation/orchestration and device provisioning

Responsibilities

• Own design, development, and long‑term health of platforms and services that automate the network
• Plan complex projects months in advance and coordinate multiple efforts
• Lead technical direction via RFCs, design reviews, and architecture decisions
• Write production-grade code in Python and Go with strong test coverage
• Improve reliability by defining SLIs/SLAs and reducing manual toil through automation
• Collaborate with Network Engineering, Observability, Fleet Engineering, and HPC teams
• Join on-call rotation and participate in blameless postmortems
• Mentor engineers, review code/designs, and grow team skills
• Contribute to a positive and collaborative culture
