Job summary

CoreWeave is hiring a Staff Software Engineer to own and build software that operates its GPU cloud network. The role emphasizes production software design, architecture, and ownership, with a requirement for strong Python and Go skills and networking knowledge.

You will lead projects, drive quality via tests and CI/CD, and mentor and collaborate across Engineering teams. Expect a high-impact, fast-paced environment with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python and Go.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD and testing.
• Experience running production infrastructure at scale.
• Familiarity with networking fundamentals and observability tools.

Responsibilities

• Own design and long-term health of platforms and services that automate the network.
• Plan complex projects months in advance and coordinate multiple efforts.
• Lead technical direction via RFCs, design reviews, and architecture decisions.
• Write production software in Python and Go with robust tests and CI/CD.
• Improve reliability by defining SLOs/SLIs and reducing toil via automation.
• Collaborate with Network Eng, Observability, Fleet Eng, and HPC teams.
• Join on-call rotation when ramped and handle incidents blamelessly.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to a collaborative culture.
