Job summary

Cardinal Health, Inc. is seeking a software engineer for Commercial Technologies Software Engineering to design and implement backend solutions, partner with product teams, and drive scalable software across the enterprise.

You will collaborate with architects and product managers to refine requirements, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver robust technology that supports business goals. The role emphasizes developing reusable software, mentoring junior engineers, and contributing to

Qualifications

4-6 years of experience, preferred
Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
Expertise in .Net and Java languages and associated tech stacks.
Familiarity with Kafka and/or Camunda is preferred

Responsibilities

Constantly demonstrates good process and practices
Proactively drives forward the development team to deliver of business goals and technical deliverables
Mentors junior members of the team
Works closely with product management and software product and innovation architects to define and refine requirements and product architecture.
Is responsible for driving design and approach through Enterprise ARB and Sonexus ARB
Ensures compliance with necessary standards and regulations
Builds software for reuse and scalability
