Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a BioPharma Reporting & Specialty Analytics engineer to design and build analytic products from clinical data sources including EMR, PMS, and PDS. You will craft reports and dashboards that drive insights for practices and pharmaceutical partners, while enriching data with reference sources.

The role requires 3+ years of software development experience, proficiency in Python and SQL, and comfort with open-source tools in a healthcare data environment.

Qualifications

• 4-8 years of experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience preferred.
• Strong communication and work ethic.
• 3+ years of software development experience.
• Proficiency in multiple programming paradigms (OOP, Declarative, Functional).
• Python experience required.
• SQL experience with relational databases (MS SQL preferred).
• Experience with healthcare data preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build analytic products from clinical data sourced from EMR, PMS, and PDS systems.
• Create reports and dashboards to support efficacy and usage of clinical products.
• Enrich data elements from reference sources to enhance analytics offerings.
• Develop new products for pharmaceutical data initiatives.
• Support and build sales enablement tools for feasibility requests.
• Handle daily operations and provide ongoing support.
