Job summary

Vanta is seeking a Staff Software Engineer in Growth to turn critical customer and business goals into working product and platform capabilities. You will own technical direction for major Growth initiatives, shape architecture, and align partners on goals and tradeoffs while building with cross-functional teams.

You will mentor engineers, drive high-impact projects, and apply product insight and AI-enabled workflows to deliver faster value for customers and the business.

Qualifications

• Staff-level leadership turning ambiguous goals into shipped, adopted results across multiple teams.
• Strong product judgment and experience building customer-facing SaaS products.
• Ability to mentor engineers and foster ownership and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and evolve reliable customer-facing software and shared platform capabilities using TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
• Understand customer research and product analytics to identify friction across evaluation, trials, onboarding, and expansion, then prioritize changes.
• Lead multi-quarter initiatives from roadmap through delivery and adoption, sequencing work across teams and measuring impact on conversion, activation, time-to-value, and retention.
