Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space in the United States is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to support the Ground segment of a next-gen MILSATCOM program. You will own activities across requirements analysis, design, code and unit tests, integration, and delivery support in a highly collaborative environment.

The role requires deep domain knowledge of ground systems, networks, and enterprise software testing, plus hands-on experience with C++, Linux, and Python, and an active Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technical discipline or closely related field
• Proficiency in C++, Linux, and Python
• Active Secret clearance required; US citizenship essential

Responsibilities

• Plan, conduct, and coordinate software development activities.
• Design, develop, document, tests, and debug software containing logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems.
• Apply standards, processes, and tools throughout the software development life cycle.
• Collaborate with engineering disciplines and customers to support formal test/delivery.
