Job summary

The Company Company in El Segundo, CA seeks a Software Systems Engineer (Senior/SME) to join the Ground Software Engineering team. This on-site role supports DoD satellite-ground systems and agile DevSecOps practices within a fast-paced environment.

Required are a Bachelor’s degree, multiple years in space software, and a DoD Secret Clearance. You will lead development, coordinate with IPTs, and help deliver high-performance C2 solutions for government and commercial customers.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required in a technical field.
5+ years of software development experience for space systems.
3+ years leading software development projects.
3+ years with Java, C++, or Python in an Agile/DevSecOps context.
Active DoD Secret Clearance or higher.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain requirements, architecture, interfaces, and design for high-performance C2 software.
Lead software development activities within scaled agile DevSecOps environment.
Support demonstrations to customer representatives and IPT leadership.
Act as Product Owner/Technical Lead or Integration & Test Lead as needed.
Support development schedules and cost baselines with rigor.
