Responsibilities

• Define and execute technical strategy aligned with business goals, leading critical projects.
• Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics teams to ensure sustainable and risk-aware technical solutions.
• Enhance team productivity through advocacy of effective technical solutions and operational processes.
• Manage team operations including monitoring, triage, playbooks, policies, testing, and alerting to ensure system reliability and support on-call duties.
• Promote a culture of quality and ownership through setting standards, code reviews, and technical talks.
• Mentor team members, providing feedback and leading by example to develop talent.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in backend development with Python, Kotlin, AWS, MySQL, Kubernetes.
• Experience in developing web applications using frameworks like React or Vue.
• Ability to deliver major features and system components, writing high-quality, understandable code.
• Comfort with ambiguity, from low-level language idioms to large system architecture.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration across global teams.
• Relevant practical experience or a related bachelor’s degree.
