Our product is used by healthcare offices across the country and internationally, primarily serving functional or 'root cause' medicine and membership- or cash-based clinics. We value integrity, quality, and client support, emphasizing a great product and team culture. We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join our growing team.

What You’ll Do

As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer (LAMP), you will develop and maintain software solutions, owning the full stack. You should have extensive experience in software development and cloud technologies. Your primary focus will be on building a back-end platform with some front-end development.

We seek a candidate who offers innovative perspectives, enjoys collaborative work, and is committed to delivering excellent user experiences as we expand our customer base.

Objectives of this Role

Collaborate with executives to strategize and implement the maintenance, modernization, and migration of our codebase to a cloud-based EHR platform.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Design and implement software solutions based on organizational needs, collaborating with team members to understand requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, ensuring timely and budget-conscious project delivery.
  • Review code written by team members, ensuring adherence to standards and best practices.
  • Work with product managers, designers, and developers to meet business requirements.
  • Stay current with new technologies and industry trends to keep solutions competitive.
  • Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure software solutions meet their needs.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in software development and DevOps.
  • Expertise in PHP, writing efficient, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.
  • Experience in database design and optimization.
  • Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and backend system integration.
  • Proficiency in Laravel for web application development, including API design and UI development.
  • Experience with Git, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance.
  • Passion for continuous learning and staying updated with latest technologies.
