Full Stack Java Developer – Expert Level

Remote (1 week onboarding in The Hague)

Start: June 30, 2025 | Duration: 1 Year with further possible extensions

We’re looking for an experienced Java Developer to join a collaborative Scrum team delivering critical systems for European-wide operations.

What You’ll Do

• Design and develop secure, scalable microservices and REST APIs
• Implement OAuth authentication, CI/CD pipelines, and containerized deployments
• Work in Agile teams, perform code reviews, and contribute to high-quality software delivery
• Use tools like Git, SonarQube, Artifactory, and Kubernetes daily
• Contribute to backend system design, testing, documentation, and DevOps practices

What We’re Looking For

• 9+ years of experience in backend Java development
• Strong knowledge of Vert.x, Spring Boot, Apache Camel, OAuth, SQL Server, Kafka
• Hands-on experience with Docker/Kubernetes, Azure DevOps, and Agile/Scrum
• Bonus: Apache NiFi, TensorFlow, Vue.js, Elasticsearch, NoSQL, Dapr

Education: Master’s + 9 years or Bachelor’s + 10 years in relevant tech field

Languages: English (B2 or higher)
