SingleStore is seeking a Staff Engineer to provide technical leadership for Flow’s end‑to‑end data path—from source systems and CDC through migration engines, APIs, Helios, and customer experiences. You will own major architectural decisions, drive critical initiatives, and stay close to the code to raise the bar on design, testing, observability, reliability, and AI‑assisted engineering.

Formación

• 10+ years of professional experience building and operating production software.
• Expert-level experience with Java and enterprise-grade codebases.
• Strong understanding of databases, replication, indexing, and data consistency.
• Hands-on experience with Change Data Capture or streaming/replication technologies.

Responsabilidades

• Set technical direction for significant areas of Flow and lead large, release‑defining projects.
• Design and deliver production‑quality software while remaining hands‑on in the codebase.
• Mentor engineers, lead design and code reviews, and raise the technical bar across teams.
• Improve observability, testing discipline, and operational readiness across Flow.
