Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Marietta, GA seeks a Software Engineer Staff for the F-22 MITL development team to drive new features, sustain the product, and rehost the OFP for Linux environments. The role supports pilot training and DT/OT testing in the RVDL with DevSecOps emphasis.

You will lead the MITL team, coordinate with the JSE, and oversee delivery of high‑quality, OFP‑based software while managing costs and schedules within the program framework.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline.
• Experience developing with C, C++, Java, or ADA.
• System Requirements experience.
• Agile Software development experience.
• Proficiency in Linux operating systems.
• Team leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage cost, schedule, and technical scope, providing weekly/monthly status and leading technical interchange meetings.
• Lead customer interactions, including program management reviews, risk meetings, and delivery of contract data requirements.
• Oversee Agile workflow, participating in program Increment and sprint planning, and coordinating with Scrum leads.
• Review software and hardware designs and all documentation before submission to customers.
• Provide day-to-day tasking and guidance to the MITL development team to ensure high-quality, OFP-based software delivery.
