Qualifications

You will be the F-22 Simulation System Test Engineer Stf for the LM Aero System Integration and Test, Air Combat Simulation (ACS), Operations Team which is responsible for advanced flight simulation testing and support.

What You Will Be Doing

As the F-22 Simulation System Test Engineer you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, authoring, and conducting system‑level F-22 Operational Flight Program testing using man‑in‑the‑loop and automated simulation tools.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

This position is in Marietta, GA Discover Marietta.

Plans, implements, tests, documents, and maintains solutions for the integration and testing of in‑house developed and COTS/GOTS components, elements, subsystems and/or systems. Synthesizes customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule and cost constraints. Establishes functional and technical specifications and standards, solves hardware/software interface problems, defines input/output parameters, and ensures integration of the entire system or subsystem. Reviews, evaluates and derives requirements for testability, develops and directs preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for complete systems and/or subsystems. Coordinates subsystem and/or system testing activities with programs and other organizations. Performs analysis of test results and prepares comprehensive subsystem and/or system level evaluation reports which verify and validate system performance. Writes discrepancy reports and performs integration regression testing to verify/validate incorporated fixes to software, components, subsystems and systems. Proficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position in practice.

Basic Qualifications
  • Experience with fighter avionics, fighter data‑link systems, fighter subsystem and sensor integration, and test planning or operational experience of the same.
  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or other STEM disciplines or non technical degree combined with 8+ relevant experience.
Desired Skills
  • US military 4th or 5th gen fighter pilot/aircrew experience is highly desired.
  • Candidate will immediately represent ACS to customers and strong communication skills are a must.
  • Direct experience with fifth generation aircraft (F-22, F-35, or B-2) flight and system integration testing.
  • Specific experience with testing Inter‑Flight Data Link (IFDL), Link‑16, fighter sensors, sensor track fusion, and communications, navigation, and identification (CNI) systems a plus.
  • Working with budgets (Earned Value Management or Control Account Manager)
  • Linux / Python experience
Pay Information

Full‑Time Salary Range: $104900.00 - $194700.00
