Job summary

Nscale is looking for a Staff Software Engineer to develop internal platforms and services that enhance enterprise security and identity efficiency. You will work collaboratively with various teams to create tools that improve security workflows and automation, ensuring faster, measurable security practices.

The position requires strong backend engineering skills and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience. A competitive compensation package is offered alongside a flexible work environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing, building, testing, and operating production services.
• Familiarity with identity and access concepts like SSO, OAuth, SCIM.
• Experience with privileged access, JIT workflows, and audit ready tooling.

Responsibilities

• Build internal software services and integrations across various security systems.
• Automate access workflows and entitlement cleanup processes.
• Improve reliability of security tooling through various engineering standards.
• Connect identity and access events with security telemetry.

Skills

Backend engineering skills in Python, Go, Java, TypeScript

APIs and data modeling

Education

8+ years of professional software engineering experience
