BeyondTrust is seeking a Staff Software Development Engineer to lead the Pathfinder platform evolution, designing and building a new platform-native module and scalable, secure services that power our SaaS offerings. As the technical owner of the NHI Governance domain, you will steer server-side work across cloud and on-prem environments.

Qualifications

• Expertise in architecting and developing microservices and cloud-native solutions.
• Strong programming skills in C#, Go, TypeScript, Java or other modern languages, with API design experience.
• Hands-on experience with Claude Code or comparable AI coding tools to design and review software.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable platform services, APIs, and data pipelines.
• Own architecture for cross-cutting systems and define interfaces and contracts.
• Provide technical oversight and lead design for complex projects across teams.
• Mentor engineers and promote security, observability, and cloud-native development.
• Drive platform-wide initiatives aligning technical strategy with business goals.
