Job summary

The Architecture team defines standards, patterns, and infrastructure that enable fast, reliable delivery within the Enterprise Health Platform across our healthcare solutions.

You will own the observability and database performance program, diagnose production bottlenecks, guide cluster topology changes, and establish benchmarking and SLA commitments for the data layer

Qualifications

• Deep PostgreSQL expertise for diagnosing production performance problems.
• Experience defining and enforcing performance contracts for the database layer.
• Ability to assess and drive architectural transformations and topology changes.

Responsibilities

• Own the observability infrastructure powering the engineering organization.
• Diagnose production performance problems by interpreting query plans and usage patterns.
• Evaluate and implement cluster topology changes, including async I/O patterns.
• Build benchmarking and regression-detection infrastructure for database performance signals.
• Define and own performance SLA and latency targets for the database layer.
