Job summary

Imagine Pediatrics, a tech-enabled pediatric medical group, seeks a Staff Software Engineer to design, build, and support our digital product suite for clinical teams and members.

You will lead engineers, emphasize scale and stability, and work with frontend, APIs, and backend services using JavaScript, Node.js, AWS, and React. On-call rotation and healthcare experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Experience with JavaScript, Node.js, AWS and React.
• Experience hosting application services on cloud providers.
• Healthcare / virtual care experience preferred.
• Ability to design scalable, reliable software for clinical teams and members.

As Staff Software Engineer with Imagine Pediatrics, you will be responsible for designing, building and supporting our digital product suite, with a focus on scale, stability and delightful user experiences for our clinical team and our members. Your focus will be finding and building solutions to achieve our goals and solve problems.

Have a data-driven, iterative approach to building products

Lead and mentor other software engineers to follow best engineering practices

Build products and software using modern & stable technologies

First and foremost, you're passionate and committed to creating the world our sickest children deserve. You want an active role in building a diverse and values-driven culture. Deep understanding and experience with front end applications, APIs, and back-end services

Experience with modern technologies (JavaScript, Node, AWS, React)

Strong understanding of all layers of a Web solution and how Mobile may be impacted

Experience hosting application services on cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure)

Experience delivering mobile, digital products to the Apple and Google Play app store is a plus

Experience in healthcare / virtual care strongly preferred

Participate in an on-call rotation

The role offers a base salary range of $180,000 - $200,000 in addition to annual bonus, competitive company benefits package and eligibility to participate in an employee equity purchase program (as applicable). Competitive medical, dental, and vision insurance
