Job summary

Imagine Pediatrics is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to design, build, and scale our digital product suite for pediatric care. You’ll lead a team, mentor engineers, and deliver robust frontend, API, and backend services.

You will work with modern technologies (JavaScript, Node.js, React, AWS) on cloud infrastructure, with on-call rotation and a strong focus on healthcare data safety and user experience. Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits include equity eligibility.

Qualifications

• Experience hosting application services on cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Healthcare / virtual care experience strongly preferred.

As Staff Software Engineer with Imagine Pediatrics, you will be responsible for designing, building and supporting our digital product suite, with a focus on scale, stability and delightful user experiences for our clinical team and our members. Your focus will be finding and building solutions to achieve our goals and solve problems.

• Have a data-driven, iterative approach to building products
• Lead and mentor other software engineers to follow best engineering practices
• Build products and software using modern & stable technologies
• First and foremost, you’re passionate and committed to creating the world our sickest children deserve. You want an active role in building a diverse and values-driven culture. Deep understanding and experience with front end applications, APIs, and back-end services
• Experience with modern technologies (JavaScript, Node, AWS, React)
• Strong understanding of all layers of a Web solution and how Mobile may be impacted
• Experience hosting application services on cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Experience delivering mobile, digital products to the Apple and Google Play app store is a plus
• Experience in healthcare / virtual care strongly preferred
• Participate in an on-call rotation

The role offers a base salary range of $180,000 - $200,000 in addition to annual bonus, competitive company benefits package and eligibility to participate in an employee equity purchase program (as applicable).
