Imagine Pediatrics in Texas is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to design, build and support our digital product suite with a focus on scale, stability, and delightful user experiences for our clinical team and members.

You will collaborate with business stakeholders, translate goals into architecture, mentor engineers, and deliver scalable solutions using modern technologies in a fast-paced healthcare startup.

• Experience with front-end applications, APIs, and back-end services.
• Experience hosting application services on cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Experience delivering mobile apps to Apple and Google Play is a plus.
• Experience in healthcare or virtual care strongly preferred.
• Participate in an on-call rotation.

Imagine Pediatrics is a tech enabled, pediatrician led medical group reimagining care for children with special health care needs. We deliver 24/7 virtual first and in home medical, behavioral, and social care, working alongside families, providers, and health plans to break down barriers to quality care. What You’ll Do

As Staff Software Engineer with Imagine Pediatrics, you will be responsible for designing, building and supporting our digital product suite, with a focus on scale, stability and delightful user experiences for our clinical team and our members. Your focus will be finding and building solutions to achieve our goals and solve problems.

You will:

• Be an effective communicator while interacting with technical and non-technical audiences
• Communicate with business stakeholders to understand goals and translate them to technical architecture and requirements
• Have a data-driven, iterative approach to building products
• Estimate product scope and timelines
• Lead and mentor other software engineers to follow best engineering practices
• Produce technical solutions that satisfy business requirements with a focus on scalability, stability, efficiency, maintainability and extensibility
• Build products and software using modern & stable technologies

• Deep understanding and experience with front end applications, APIs, and back-end services
• Strong understanding of all layers of a Web solution and how Mobile may be impacted
• Experience hosting application services on cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Experience delivering mobile, digital products to the Apple and Google Play app store is a plus
• Experience working in a fast-paced, hypergrowth, collaborative environment
• Experience in healthcare / virtual care strongly preferred
• Participate in an on‑call rotation

What We Offer (Benefits + Perks)

The role offers a base salary range of $180,000 - $200,000 in addition to annual bonus, competitive company benefits package and eligibility to participate in an employee equity purchase program (as applicable).
