Job summary

Imagine Pediatrics, a tech-enabled pediatric care group, seeks a Staff Software Engineer to design, build and support our digital product suite for clinicians and members. You will focus on scale, stability and delightful user experiences, communicating with stakeholders and mentoring teammates.

You bring deep experience with front end, APIs and back-end services, with JavaScript, Node, AWS and React, plus cloud hosting. Healthcare experience and on-call rotation are a plus.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of front end applications, APIs and back-end services.
• Experience with modern technologies: JavaScript, Node, AWS, React.
• Knowledge of all web layers and mobile impact.
• Experience hosting services on cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Experience delivering mobile apps to Apple and Google Play is a plus.
• Experience in a fast-paced, hypergrowth, collaborative environment.
• Healthcare/virtual care experience preferred.
• Participation in an on-call rotation.

What You\'ll Do

As Staff Software Engineer with Imagine Pediatrics, you will be responsible for designing, building and supporting our digital product suite, with a focus on scale, stability and delightful user experiences for our clinical team and our members. Your focus will be finding and building solutions to achieve our goals and solve problems.

• Be an effective communicator while interacting with technical and non-technical audiences
• Communicate with business stakeholders to understand goals and translate them to technical architecture and requirements
• Have a data-driven, iterative approach to building products
• Estimate product scope and timelines
• Lead and mentor other software engineers to follow best engineering practices
• Produce technical solutions that satisfy business requirements with a focus on scalability, stability, efficiency, maintainability and extensibility
• Build products and software using modern & stable technologies

• Experience hosting application services on cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Experience delivering mobile, digital products to the Apple and Google Play app store is a plus
• Experience working in a fast-paced, hypergrowth, collaborative environment
• Experience in healthcare / virtual care strongly preferred
• Participate in an on-call rotation

What We Offer (Benefits + Perks)

The role offers a base salary range of $180,000 - $200,000 in addition to annual bonus, competitive company benefits package and eligibility to participate in an employee equity purchase program (as applicable).
