Experity, Inc. is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to provide technical leadership for the OnePACS medical imaging platform. The role focuses on architecture, hands-on engineering, mentorship, and modernization of a cloud-based PACS system used by radiology groups and healthcare providers.

The ideal candidate has strong Java experience, healthcare imaging knowledge, and the ability to drive complex technical work across legacy and modern systems. Remote or office options are available.

Qualifications

• Ten years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on Java production systems experience.
• Experience providing technical leadership in complex platforms.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, relational databases, performance, and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across the OnePACS platform and imaging workflows.
• Design, develop, and modernize Java-based platform services and applications.
• Lead architecture discussions for scalability, reliability, security, interoperability, and maintainability.
• Support modernization of legacy platform components while maintaining production stability.
• Mentor engineers through design reviews, troubleshooting, and knowledge sharing.
