Qualifications

• Extensive experience delivering large-scale distributed cloud-native systems.
• Proficiency in C#, Go, TypeScript, and Java with API design authority.
• Hands-on experience with AI coding tools and high-velocity development.
• Track record owning architecture and technical direction across teams or domains.
• Strong AWS design, hosting, and operation experience at scale.
• Solid knowledge of CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Experience designing multi-tenant shared services.
• Proficient in data modeling and scalable data exploration.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Set and drive technical direction and architecture for the NHI Governance domain.
• Own complex, high-risk initiatives end to end from problem to delivered system.
• Define standards and contracts used by multiple teams and products.
• Partner with product, design, and engineering leaders to align strategy with business goals.
• Mentor staff and senior engineers, raising the technical bar.
• Lead design reviews and critical build/buy decisions.
• Prioritize quality, security, observability, and performance.
• Clarify ambiguous problems and drive them to resolution.
