Job summary

Arketa is hiring a Staff Software Engineer to build AI products for studios, modernize core architecture, and improve agentic loops, CI, and observability. This is a product engineering role with no management track, hybrid work 3x a week at the NYC NoHo office.

You will work on TypeScript, Node.js, NestJS, React, and Postgres, delivering customer value rapidly. You will mentor engineers, influence technical direction, and help create patterns the team adopts, while maintaining startup velocity

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, with strong product impact.
• Full-stack contributor comfortable across the stack and ownership of features.
• Fluent in JavaScript/TypeScript and AI tooling in daily work.

Responsibilities

• Build AI-powered features for studio operators and drive product impact across the stack.
• Develop agentic loops, CI, and observability to ship quickly and safely.
• Mentor teammates and partner with leadership to establish patterns adopted by the team.
• Own architecture quality and contribute to reliability, monitoring, and incident response.
