Job summary

Okta is seeking an experienced software engineer to contribute to Auth0, its AI-enabled authentication domain. You will develop features, APIs and fixes to scale the platform, while applying AI-assisted coding practices to accelerate delivery without compromising security.

You will work within Okta's Native Apps team on tasks spanning NodeJS, React, and backend services, maintaining architectural integrity and driving long-term scalability in a collaborative, remote-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience.
• Experience creating public or internal APIs using NodeJS/Javascript/Typescript.
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB) in production.
• Experience with mobile CI/CD pipelines (Github Actions).
• Autonomous with focus on long-term scalability of core product.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop features, APIs and fixes to handle scale.
• Collaborate with a product manager and designer in a fast-paced agile team.
• Audit, debug and secure AI-generated code and ensure authentication standards.
• Lead team discussions and mentor engineers to improve productivity.
