Walmart Global Tech in the United States, Bellevue, seeks a Staff Software Engineer to deliver scalable platform capabilities across full SDLC, lead infra and tooling initiatives, and drive AI/ML integration for intelligent automation.

The Customer Engagement Services Technology team partners with product, business, and UX to deliver measurable value while focusing on secure, maintainable design and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area with 4 years’ experience.
• Alternatively, 6 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.

Responsibilities

• Deliver platform capabilities including infrastructure, tooling, and ML frameworks aligned with roadmap milestones.
• Drive full software development lifecycle activities: coding, testing, deployment, monitoring, maintenance.
• Apply cloud-native architecture principles to ensure scalable, resilient systems.
• Conduct design reviews to validate feasibility and alignment with architectural best practices.
• Build AI-driven applications and integrate ML components for automation.
• Mentor engineers and promote engineering excellence.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical requirements and track success metrics.
