Job summary

Walmart Global Tech in Bellevue, WA seeks a Senior Software Engineer to lead delivery of scalable, secure software and manage feature implementation, testing, and ongoing support. You will apply advanced programming skills to drive full lifecycle development, integrating AI/ML components and leveraging automation to enhance efficiency.

As part of the Customer Engagement Services Technology team, you will collaborate across product, business, and UX partners to deliver measurable business value

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, or related field and 3 years’ experience.
• Alternatively 5 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
• Preferred: Master’s degree with focus on accessible, inclusive digital experiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of scoped features and components through engineering teams.
• Develop, test, and maintain high-quality, efficient code across multiple languages.
• Integrate AI/ML components and generative AI tools.
• Conduct code reviews and apply best practices for secure, scalable systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate problems into technical requirements.
• Monitor application performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Mentor peers and promote engineering excellence.
