Job summary

GoodLeap seeks a Staff Software Engineer to design, develop, and scale our platform, driving a new revenue path with executive visibility. You will own end-to-end ownership from backend services to frontend performance and AI-powered features.

You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver reliable, secure, high-performance software while mentoring peers and shaping the architecture for growth.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software engineering building full-stack apps at scale.
• Experience with NodeJS, React and TypeScript.
• Experience with state management (Redux).
• Cloud platform experience (AWS/Azure/Google).
• Strong architectural, security and performance knowledge.
• Proven leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of large-scale full-stack applications across frontend and backend.
• Architect scalable, secure solutions for AI/ML features across Web/Mobile/SMS/API.
• Own end-to-end technical strategy for embedding LLMs and content delivery.
• Design agentic workflows using LLMs and API orchestration.
• Familiar with MLOps, CI/CD for AI pipelines and observability tools.
• Provide technical leadership across teams and engineering direction.
• Drive cross-functional projects to improve reliability and performance.
• Ensure security and data privacy compliance.
• Mentor senior and mid-level engineers.
• Communicate progress and align with stakeholders.
