Job summary

GoodLeap is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to design, develop, and scale our platform with deep ownership across frontend and backend, and leadership across teams. You will drive our AI strategy by building and shipping agents powered by LLMs and integrating across APIs, data sources, and tools.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate with product and design, ensure security and performance, and help define architecture for high availability.

Qualifications

8+ years of software engineering experience building full-stack apps at scale.
2+ years working with AI/ML or LLMs.
Experience with NodeJS, React, and Typescript.
Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) with focus on performance.
Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

Lead design and development of large-scale full-stack applications across frontend and backend.
Architect scalable, secure solutions to support AI/ML features across Web, Mobile, and API surfaces.
Own end-to-end technical strategy for embedding LLMs and content delivery.
Design agentic workflows using LLMs and orchestrate across APIs and data sources.
Provide technical leadership across teams and guide architecture decisions.
Drive cross-functional projects to improve reliability and performance.
Ensure security and data privacy compliance.
Mentor engineers and communicate progress with stakeholders.
