CVS Health is seeking a Staff Software Development Engineer to design, develop and implement digital solutions and systems by applying advanced technical expertise to architect and code software applications, conduct system testing and debugging, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the overall technical direction and innovation of digital engineering projects.
The role requires strong experience across React, cloud platforms, Java microservices, and AI-assisted
Competenze
- 7+ years of software development in enterprise/web apps.
- 5+ years React/TypeScript/JS, Python, Node.js or similar.
- 5+ years cloud tech (GCP/AWS/Azure) or comparable.
- 3+ years Java microservices, FAST API, Spring Boot/REST.
- 3+ years Agile development practices.
- 3+ years applying AI tools (Claude, GitHub Copilot, Amazon Q).

- Define and communicate the long‑term application development strategy.
- Manage the development team's day‑to‑day work with agility and quality.
- Analyze trends and technologies to identify opportunities for innovation.
- Allocate resources and prioritize development projects for efficiency.
