EvolutionIQ is seeking a Staff Engineer to architect systems and set engineering best practices across teams. You will design scalable backend and AI-powered components, write production code, and guide decisions that shape how our products deliver value to customers.

This role requires 8+ years of hands-on experience, strong Python and TypeScript skills, and a track record of delivering end-to-end features.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of engineering experience with end-to-end ownership.
• Proficient in Python, plus TypeScript/JavaScript for front-end.
• Deep architectural experience with multi-tenant backends and relational databases.
• Experience with AI-assisted and agentic engineering tools.
• Ability to translate business problems into technical solutions.
• Strong communication and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Architect systems and write code for AI-native products in auto casualty domain.
• Tackle legacy systems, decide what to rebuild or replace, and lead hands-on work.
• Build production-ready back-end architectures with AI tools at core.
• Set engineering standards in partnership with Product, Data Science, and Data Engineering.
