Job summary

Collectors Holdings, Inc. is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join the Grading Operations team in Santa Ana, CA.

You will own end-to-end complex projects, building backend services and data models that power grading and authentication workflows, while contributing to frontend features with Vue.js and JavaScript. You will mentor peers, shape system designs, and operate in a high-volume, cloud-based environment with containerized and serverless components.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience building production applications.
• Strong proficiency in C# and .NET with RESTful API design experience.
• Hands-on experience delivering frontend work in modern frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Own complex, loosely defined projects spanning multiple teams.
• Build backend services, APIs, and data models powering grading/authentication apps.
• Design and implement event-driven and asynchronous systems for high-volume data flow.
• Mentor engineers through design/code reviews and best practices.
• Collaborate with Product/Operations to translate requirements into clean designs.
• Contribute to frontend development using JavaScript, Vue.js, and related tech.
• Participate in on-call rotations and write design documents.
