Job summary

CVS Health is seeking an experienced Staff Software Development Engineer to act as technical lead and individual contributor for our next-generation platform. You will build scalable microservices, drive delivery excellence, and partner with IT and business leaders to deliver digital health solutions.

You will design high-quality code, participate in architecture discussions, mentor junior developers, and contribute to knowledge sharing to accelerate innovation and reliability across CVS

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
7+ years of enterprise solution delivery in a large-scale distributed software environment.
5+ years of Java development experience.
5+ years of cloud initiatives and cloud computing tech.
5+ years of designing and developing modern microservices and APIs.
3+ years of CI/CD pipeline automation.
3+ years in an Agile development environment.
2+ years of Generative AI / AI experience.

Responsibilities

Design and implement scalable, efficient software solutions meeting business requirements.
Contribute to solution design and architecture with architects and senior engineers.
Provide input on feasibility, performance, and scalability.
