Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a software engineer to build identity verification, vetting, and access management infrastructure for trusted AI access programs. You will also develop monitoring and enforcement tooling and dashboards to support safe deployment of frontier capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or comparable experience.
• Experience building and operating backend systems in production.
• Strong coding skills in at least one general-purpose language and experience with AI coding tools.
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex concepts.
• Care about societal impacts of AI and safer systems.

Responsibilities

• Build identity verification and vetting systems (KYC/KYB) for customers.
• Design and implement access control systems based on approved use cases.
• Configure safety systems and per-customer detection thresholds.
• Develop monitoring and enforcement tooling for misuse.
• Collaborate with policy, enforcement, product, and go-to-market teams.
• Identify account compromise and apply real-time mitigations.
• Design dashboards, alerting, and internal admin tooling for visibility.
