Job summary

Anthropic Limited is seeking a software engineer for the Access Programs team in Seattle to build identity verification, vetting, and access management infrastructure for trusted AI capabilities. You will shape safeguards and monitoring across enforcement and product teams.

You will collaborate on KYC/KYB workflows, threat detection, and dashboards, contributing to safe, scalable access and responsible AI deployment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or comparable experience in CS/SE.
Experience building and operating backend systems in production.
Strong coding skills in at least one general-purpose language and AI coding tools.
Strong communication to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Care about societal impacts of AI and safer systems.

Responsibilities

Build identity verification and vetting systems (KYC/KYB) to identify customers.
Design and implement access control systems for advanced capabilities.
Configure safety systems and detection thresholds per customer.
Develop monitoring to detect misuse and enforce compliance.
Collaborate with policy, enforcement, threat intel, product, research, and go-to-market teams.
Identify account compromise and apply mitigations in real time.
Create dashboards, alerting, and internal admin tooling for visibility.
Integrate with third-party identity verification and data enrichment vendors.
