United States Digital Space LLC is hiring a Staff Software Engineer to set technical direction across Product Engineering. You will stay hands-on, influence architecture across squads, and tackle the hardest scaling and data challenges as the platform grows toward 100 billion risk signals a day.

You’ll join one of multiple squads, work with Go services, Postgres, Kubernetes on GCP, and leverage agentic AI tools to advance code quality and delivery from day one.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant engineering experience at product-driven companies
• Strong TypeScript and React proficiency
• Backend experience with Go
• Relational database skills (PostgreSQL)
• Familiarity with AI coding tools and workflows
• Ability to set technical direction across multiple teams
• Proven track record of scaling systems and architecture decisions
• Comfort influencing product and leadership on what to build

Responsibilities

• Stay hands-on while setting technical direction across squads
• Own architecture decisions that span teams
• Lead scaling and data challenges for growth to 100B signals a day
• Raise engineering standards through reviews and mentoring
• Shape roadmaps with engineering and product leadership
