Job summary

Higharc is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to lead the architecture and delivery of the Home Design Experience web app. You will work closely with the product/UX lead and report to the VP of Engineering, driving rapid prototyping and production-quality builds.

You’ll own frontend architecture, connect UI with data and real-time 3D, and help shape patterns for reuse across Higharc. Strong TypeScript/React skills and 3D experience are essential, with a passion for AI-forward development.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience building large web apps with TypeScript and React.
• Experience with browser-based 3D and tools like Three.js.
• Ability to lead architecture decisions from prototype to production.
• Strong collaboration with product/UX leads.
• Comfort operating in ambiguity and shipping meaningful increments.
• Interest in AI-forward development and agentic experiences.

Responsibilities

• Prototype new home design workflows and turn them into customer-ready software.
• Lead development of interactive 3D design workflows integrating UI, design data, and real-time 3D.
• Own architecture and deliverables from prototypes to production, across frontend and services.
• Partner with product/UX lead to challenge assumptions and plan next features.
• Deliver code yourself to maintain delivery momentum.
• Collaborate with platform team to reuse foundations and document patterns.
• Mentor less experienced engineers through pairing and code reviews.
