Job summary

Torc Robotics, Inc. seeks a Staff Software Engineer to own the technical direction for simulation-based testing of autonomous trucks. You will define, build, and support testing in a virtual environment while mentoring team members and aligning with multiple teams.

You'll lead architecture decisions for simulation test environments, oversee test plans, and drive the execution of SIL/HIL testing. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong SDLC knowledge and simulation-based testing methodologies (SIL/HIL).

Owning the technical direction for simulation-based testing, the full-time Staff Software Engineer will define, build, and support testing of autonomous trucks in a virtual environment while mentoring team members and driving alignment across various teams.

• Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and simulation-based testing methodologiesExperience with Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing
• Proven ability to lead virtual testing events and troubleshoot complex software issues
• Demonstrated experience mentoring engineers and reporting on testing progress and technical risk
