Job summary

BayOne Solutions in Michigan is seeking a testing engineer specialized in hardware-in-the-loop and autonomous driving test environments to ensure software releases meet safety and performance standards.

You will run HIL and simulation tests, analyze complex data streams, and collaborate across teams to craft realistic driving scenarios, including night runs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven track record of HIL bench or simulation testing experience.
• Experience curating and evaluating driving scenarios for hardware-in-the-loop tests.
• Ability to run and execute HIL and simulation tests to grade software releases.
• Analyze complex logs, video, and sensor data to triage issues during autonomous vehicle drives.
• Strong cross-team collaboration and ability to navigate technical ambiguity.

• Analyze complex streams of information (logs, video files, sensor data) to triage and identify issues detected during autonomous vehicle drives.
• Ability to operate effectively across multiple teams, and navigate technical ambiguity within his assigned tasks.
