Job summary

Pragmatike is seeking a Staff level Member of Technical Staff to lead high-impact engineering initiatives and shape scalable platform architectures. You will drive architecture across multiple systems and teams, mentor engineers, and set technical standards to improve reliability and performance.

Ideal candidates bring 7+ years of software experience, strong leadership, and fluency in English, with deep expertise in distributed systems and at least one major programming language.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in distributed systems and system architecture.
• Deep proficiency in at least one major programming language.
• Experience operating systems at meaningful scale.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and implementation of critical platform capabilities.
• Own complex technical initiatives from conception through production.
• Design scalable distributed systems and services.
• Identify and resolve architectural, reliability, and performance bottlenecks.
• Establish engineering patterns and technical standards.
• Collaborate across Product, Engineering, and Infrastructure teams.
• Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership.
