Job summary

Pragmatike is seeking a Senior Member of Technical Staff to design and build core systems, and to drive architecture and deployment across scalable infrastructure. This role focuses on solving complex engineering problems and shaping the technology platform as the company scales.

You will own major technical projects, collaborate with product and engineering teams, and mentor engineers on standards and best practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Proficient in Python, Go, TypeScript, Rust, or Java.
• Strong system design and distributed systems fundamentals.
• Experience operating production systems.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate production software systems.
• Own significant technical projects from architecture through deployment.
• Develop scalable services, APIs, infrastructure, and internal tooling.
• Solve complex performance, reliability, and scalability challenges.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering on technical requirements.
• Participate in architectural decisions and technical design reviews.
• Improve engineering quality, observability, and operational practices.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to engineering standards.
