Opiniion is seeking a Staff Software Architect to own the architectural vision of our core platform. The role requires thinking in systems, hands-on coding when it matters, and translating strategy into scalable technical direction.

You'll partner with the Staff Data Architect to align backend and data architectures for the next generation platform. You will set the tech bar across engineering, balance evolving live systems with building the future platform, and guide teams through ADRs and

Qualifications

10+ years in software development with 7+ years in architecture/leadership roles.
Experience designing and scaling multi-tenant SaaS platforms.
Knowledge of microservices, event-driven architecture, and DDD.

Responsibilities

Set overall technical direction and be final decision-maker on cross-cutting architecture.
Lead architecture and system design across backend and frontend for a multi-tenant SaaS platform.
Collaborate with Staff Data Architect to drive architecture and rollout of the new platform.
Own critical tech decisions, ensuring scalable, secure, observable, and maintainable systems.
