Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in security/infrastructure engineering or SOC engineering focused on SIEM/EDR, telemetry pipelines, and detection content.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate across security operations, architecture, infrastructure, and product teams; strong documentation skills.
• Design secure by default telemetry patterns and logging standards across operating systems, cloud, and network data sources.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines (Routes, Pipelines, Packs) for secure, cost managed, and high throughput log routing, enrichment, filtering, and transformation into SIEM, archive, and other destinations.
• Engineer SIEM content (SPL searches, correlation rules, alerts, dashboards, data models, CIM mapping, RBA) with focus on signal quality and cost control.
• Define and maintain RBAC, least privilege models, and user provisioning across telemetry and detection platforms.
• Contribute to integration across SOC tooling (e.g., Tines, AWS/Azure/GCP logging) to streamline detection and response workflows.
• Author and maintain documentation (design docs, runbooks, decision records).
• Troubleshoot issues to reduce noise and close visibility gaps.
• Participate in incident response with targeted searches and root-cause analysis.
• Implement and improve control validation and observability metrics.
