OnTrac is seeking a Lead SOC Engineer to design and operate robust security architectures across on‑prem and cloud environments. This front‑line, hands‑on role enables the SOC and supports the GRC team by translating complex regulatory requirements into automated evidence collection and controls.

The candidate will guide a team of engineers, coordinate cross‑functional initiatives, and strengthen detection capabilities using SIEM, EDR, and SOAR.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years IT/Security experience, with at least 3 years in a senior/lead capacity.
• CISSP, CISM or GCIA/GCDA/OSCP-like certifications preferred.
• Generalist mindset across multi-domain security (network, endpoint, cloud).
• Scripting to automate security tasks (Python/PowerShell/Bash).
• Experience with OC/Threat Hunting tech, SIEM logic, and EDR configuration.
• GRC fluency with NIST CSF, ISO 27001 or SOC2 requirements.

Responsabilités

• Design and implement security solutions to enable SOC alert orchestration (SOAR) and automated risk monitoring for GRC.
• Lead integration of security tools (EDR, SIEM, Cloud Security) for a unified security posture.
• Support technical risk assessments and remediation planning across infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain security architectures in hybrid on‑prem/cloud environments.
• Serve as Tier 3 escalation for complex incidents requiring forensic/architectural expertise.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster technical excellence.
