Job summary

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. seeks a Senior SoC Debug Engineer to own Bring up and debug across pre-Si and post-Si stages for Server/Compute/Mobile chipsets. You will lead RTL inspection, JTAG debugging, and real-time hardware debugging across motherboards, memory, and power systems.

Preferred candidates bring strong scripting, lab tool proficiency, and knowledge of server boot/reset scenarios to drive rapid issue isolation and quality improvements.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience with pre-si and post-silicon enabling, bring-up, analyze failures at the embedded platform level.
• RTL inspection and understanding of basic RTL.
• Experience solving complex debug in pre-si and post-si phases.
• Lead development of fast debug strategies at platform level.
• Create debug plans for partners to triage failures and isolate components.

Responsibilities

• Lead Bring up, debug, analyze failures at embedded platform level in pre-Si and post-Si phases.
• Perform RTL inspection to root cause pre-Si and post-Si issues including JTAG exposure.
• Develop and implement faster debug strategies at platform level.
• Create debug strategies and plans for partners to triage failures and isolate components.
• Perform real-time debugging of server hardware including motherboards, processors, memory, storage, power, networking.
• Investigate manufacturing defects, determine root causes, implement corrective actions.
