Job summary

Ladders is seeking an Engineering Manager, Site Reliability to lead a globally distributed SRE team and own reliability foundations for a high-growth tech environment.

You will partner with engineering teams to strengthen scalable infrastructure, automate processes, and improve availability, security, and cost efficiency while guiding hands-on leaders in a remote setting.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of SRE management or equivalent experience.
• Production experience with AWS and Terraform.
• Experience managing high availability, multi-region production infrastructure.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Ability to engage with customers and incorporate feedback into development.
• Background in a high growth startup is preferred.
• Experience with large MongoDB clusters under heavy workloads.

Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Engineering Manager, Site Reliability to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space.

This leader will own the reliability, observability, and incident response foundations that support a globally distributed engineering organization. The role will partner closely with engineering teams to strengthen scalable infrastructure, improve automation and self-service, and drive meaningful gains in availability, security, and operational efficiency. This is a hands‑on leadership opportunity for someone who can guide a distributed SRE team while helping shape resilient systems in a high‑growth environment.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $130,000 – $160,000 annually
