Job summary

The Kleingers Group, in West Chester, OH, seeks a Staff Civil Engineer to provide technical leadership on site civil projects. You will lead study and design phases for civil, environmental, construction, and industrial projects, guiding teams and collaborating with clients and stakeholders.

You will mentor co-ops/interns, apply CAD and other engineering tools, and ensure design standards are met. This role emphasizes professional presence and collaborative problem-solving.

Qualifications

• Civil Engineering Degree (or related).
• Minimum 2 consecutive years of Civil Engineering experience.
• Public speaking ability, desired.
• Execute basic design projects from start to finish as the primary designer of the project.
• Develop baseline knowledge of state and local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Consult with stakeholders and management on engineering requirements for construction and modifications.
• Use design software and drafting tools to render and communicate designs; plan and design improvements.
• Set design specifications by computing water flow, traffic, earthwork, and related requirements.
• Plan projects using drawings, blueprints, surveys, maps and geologic/topographic data.
• Draft and present reports on detention and engineering due diligence topics.
