Job summary

The Kleingers Group in Indianapolis seeks a Site Civil Project Engineer to provide technical leadership on civil, environmental, construction and industrial projects. The role requires leading study- and design-phases and coordinating with stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.

You will manage project staff, ensure QA/QC, and drive design excellence while collaborating with architects, contractors, and surveyors. Indiana PE license is required.

Qualifications

• Civil Engineering degree required.
• Minimum 5 consecutive years of Civil Engineering experience.
• Indiana Professional Engineering license (PE) required.
• Ability to lead design projects from start to finish as primary designer.

Responsibilities

• Lead study-phase and design-phase for civil projects.
• Provide technical leadership to project teams.
• Manage assigned staff and project deliverables.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure progress.
• Review QA/QC and stamp projects as appropriate.
• Ensure compliance with state and local regulations in projects.
• Mentor and develop junior staff including Co-Ops and engineers.
• Lead client communications and project updates.
