The Kleingers Group is Indianapolis-based and seeks a Site Civil Project Engineer to lead planning, evaluation, design, and implementation of civil engineering projects in civil, environmental, construction, and industrial fields.

You will manage project staff, interact with clients occasionally, and contribute to project success with advanced design software proficiency and an Indiana PE license. The role emphasizes collaboration and technical excellence.

Formación

• Civil Engineering Degree (or related)
• Minimum 5 consecutive years of Civil Engineering experience
• Public speaking ability, desired
• Execute advanced level design projects from start to finish as the primary designer of the project.
• Assign Co-Ops, Graduate Civil Engineers, and Associate Civil Engineers projects/pieces of projects aligned with their abilities.
• Proactively implementing regulatory requirement based on knowledge of state and local regulations

Responsabilidades

• Consults with stakeholders on engineering requirements for construction and modifications.
• Uses design software to render and communicate designs; plans improvements.
• Sets design specifications by computing engineering requirements.
• Plans projects based on analysis of drawings, blueprints, and other data.
• Drafts and presents reports on topics related to projects such as detention and due diligence.
• Performs calculations for materials, equipment, and labor to determine probable construction cost.
• Collaborates with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure progress.
• Monitors project progress and ensures specifications and standards are met.
• Reviews other projects for QA/QC and stamps as appropriate.
• Completes assigned projects independently with minimal oversight.
• Mentors assigned staff and coaches the team.
• Participates in meetings and events to grow networking contacts.
