Under the supervision of the Staff Services Manager III (SSM III) Section Chief, Patient Cost Recovery Section, the Staff Services Manager II (SSM II) oversees and supervises staff, including one Staff Services Manager I, four Health Program Specialists, three Associate Governmental Analysts, and one Student Assistant. The role manages the Compliance Oversight Office.

Working Conditions
  • This position reports to the Allenby Building, Sacramento, with a possible hybrid telework schedule upon approval. Travel throughout California may be required.
  • The State offers commute incentives including bicycle, transit, and vanpool programs, with transit passes covered up to $325/month in 2025.
  • The DSH-Sacramento office is located in an 11-floor high-rise building.

Department Information

The Department of State Hospitals aims to provide safe, innovative, and excellent evaluation and treatment services across various care settings. The Sacramento facility is located at 1215 O Street, featuring amenities such as retail space, a café, outdoor seating, conference rooms, a fitness center, and collaborative workspaces.
