Ladders is seeking a Principal Security Product Manager to own the strategy and roadmap for security capabilities that support engineering teams while meeting regulatory and audit expectations. This role partners with security engineers and Information Security leadership to turn risk and compliance needs into practical, scalable products.

You will drive adoption of security tools that fit into developer workflows, deliver measurable business impact, and shape an AI-powered security platform

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 7 years of product management experience, including 3 years in security or platform products.
• Proven track record managing complex technical products from vision to improvement.
• Experience translating regulatory needs into product requirements with engineering teams.
• Familiarity with vulnerability mgmt, application security, and automation.

For our client, we are seeking a Principal Security Product Manager to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space.

This role will own the strategy and roadmap for security capabilities that support engineering teams while meeting regulatory and audit expectations. You will work closely with security engineers and Information Security leadership to turn risk and compliance needs into practical, scalable products. The position also calls for driving adoption of security tools that fit naturally into developer workflows and deliver measurable business impact.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $210,000 – $273,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap for security capabilities based on user needs and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with security engineers to translate pain points into clear product requirements and scope MVPs
• Drive adoption of security products that integrate seamlessly into engineering workflows, measuring success through metrics
• Shape an AI-powered security platform encompassing security reviews, continuous testing, and risk scoring
• Incorporate regulatory and audit requirements into product design, ensuring ongoing compliance readiness
• Communicate product strategy and measurable outcomes to Information Security leadership and stakeholders

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 7 years of product management experience, including 3 years in security, risk, developer-facing, or platform products
• Proven track record of managing complex technical products from vision to continuous improvement
• Experience collaborating with engineering teams to define technical requirements and prioritize roadmaps
• Familiarity with security domains such as vulnerability management, application security, and security automation
